The MASSOTHERAPIST MCB is a health specialist recognized by Italian law: it is an auxiliary art to health professions that performs manual therapies and mechanical maneuvers on the human body with hands and the aid of electromedical instruments.
It is also qualified to perform Wellness and sports massages and treatments.
In the health sector (in case of costumers with pathologies), it operates on the basis of a medical prescription, issuing a health receipt deductible for tax purposes.

THERAPIES BY MEANS OF MASSAGE

Unlike the wellness massage, massage therapies act on pathological states and dysfunctions (remember that the "muscle knots" are dysfunctions) through specific manipulation techniques performed by qualified figures for Therapeutic Massage (Massager and CB of hydrotherapeutic structures, Physiotherapist, MFT) with knowledge of anatomy and physiology of human body / appropriate therapeutic techniques, the result of training courses recognized by Italian law and by the European Community. The Masseur-therapist is included in the list of health specialist of the Ministry of Health.
This is why it is important, in the presence of disorders and illnesses: having consulted the doctor for prescribing the recommended therapies.

HERE OUR MASSOTHERAPY TREATMENTS

The techniques described below are purely therapeutic and are used and mixed according to the type of pathology on the indication of your doctor specialist. During a massage session various techniques can be used, combined with stretching exercises of the muscular districts involved in the dysfunction and, to complete the session, kinesiological or elasto-compressive bandage may be applied depending on the needs and requirements. During sessions you can experience momentary painful sensations that are reduced, fading as the treatment progresses.
Sometimes a state of soreness and fatigue can persist for two or three days after treatment, the time necessary for the fascial-tissues to free themselves from the toxins present and find a new biochemical balance.
For this reason, it is advisable a cadence of 3/4 days between the massage sessions.

After long hours of work or travel, or after intense physical activity, it is important to take a anti-stress break to recharge your energy. Thanks to rapid and effective maneuvers, the massage allows to dissolve muscle tension (back and cervical) producing an overall relaxation. The use of oil containing medicinal oils “kräuteröl”, make the massage to anti-inflammatory , anti-microbial, anti-fatigue and stimulating blood circulation.

 DEEP TRANSVERSE MASSAGE (MTP)

The "Deep Transversal Massage" is particularly effective in the presence of fascial adhesions, tendon pathologies and skin scars due to accidental or post-surgical wounds.

Usually, during the massage, elasticizing and healing creams or essential oils are applied to enhance the effects of the treatment.

The duration depends on the type of pathology and may include the use of other massage techniques

 FUNCTIONAL BANDAGE - KINESIO-TAPING

Functional bandages are performed to provide stability to the joints as a result of trauma or dysfunction. The Taping involves the use of a special adhesive tape that, positioned on the skin with specific techniques, is able to relieve the pain due to muscular tension, helping the connective tissue to relax and restore a physiological balance. The cost of treatment depends on the type of application required.

MANEUVERING MECHANICAL OF MUSCLE-STRETCHING


During the therapy sessions, in addition to the massage, when necessary, muscular stretching maneuvers are applied.

The maneuvers are useful to complete the fascial relaxation work and guarantee a lasting result over time.
