Our wonderful territory...

Lake Garda

Lake Garda, in addition to the beautiful villages that lie along its entire shore and which offer the best tourist services in Italy, has a hinterland full of enchanting places to discover and explore. It is an area rich in art, culture, history... but also a place full of opportunities for relaxation, leisure, sport and entertainment!

Peschiera del Garda extends south-east of the lake and is characterized by the Renaissance city walls which house the historic centre.

From Peschiera, Lake Garda flows into the Mincio river, completely surrounding the fortress, highlighting its pentagonal shape, its bastions, its bridges connecting with the mainland and the three islands that make up the historic centre, like a small Venice .

In fact, just like in Venice, it happens that you come across a beautiful Venetian gondola with which tourists can enjoy a spectacular tour around the historic walls which have become a UNESCO World Heritage Site for their spectacular beauty.

Our accommodations are located just 500 meters from the historic center and, in complete comfort, will allow you to reach the centre, the commercial premises, the port with the ferry dock, bus stops, supermarkets, beaches, restaurants and pubs.

Beaches

Peschiera del Garda is the town on Lake Garda with the largest and most extensive beaches, partly free, partly equipped with the possibility of renting beach equipment and boats.

  • To the West, starting from the Port and walking along the Mazzini lake promenade, you will arrive at Lido Cappuccini from where the mainly pebble beach originates with some grassy areas, which extends up to the Fornaci area, through a beautiful paved pedestrian path: along the path you will find an area of private beach, in Bergamini beach, equipped to accommodate families with four-legged friends, the Bracco Baldo Beach. On the other side of Peschiera, in the eastern area, following the Garibaldi lake promenade, you arrive at Lido pioppi, with a beach accessible to disabled people, partly free and partly equipped , partially gravelly, with a grassy stretch and a sandy stretch. The beach continues into the municipality of Castelnuovo del Garda and, through a wonderful lakeside promenade, allows you to reach Garda on foot!

THEREFORE YOU ARE NOT EVAILABLE WITH THE CHOICE!!!

Thermal Parks

Water is the characterizing element of our splendid lake, but the subsoil of some Garda areas offers truly precious water for personal health and well-being: THERMAL water!

We advise you not to miss a day or a few hours in one of the terminal parks in the area:

  • Terme di Sirmione with its sulphurous waters, a renowned treatment center and also a fabulous wellness center with its Aquaria, the beautiful SPA with swimming pools and saunas that directly overlook Lake Garda, creating a perceptive continuity;
  • Terme di Colà (Lazise) with the Garda Thermal Park which is located in the hilly hinterland;
  • Aquardens (hinterland - Pescantina) with its water park of hot thermal waters.

Amusement and theme parks

A short distance from Peschiera, you will find the most famous and largest amusement parks as well as equally well-known and popular theme and water parks, some of which can be easily reached thanks to the free shuttle buses that serve the area: Gardaland See Life, Caneva World, Movieland, Parco Cavour to name a few, or if you love nature or adventure you can choose between Parco Giardino Sigurtà (nature trail),

Parco Natura Viva (a modern zoo and important center for the protection of threatened and endangered species, with a safari route), Jungle Adventure Park and Bosco Park for adventurous routes in the woods including flyovers, ropes, nets and launches into the void

Lake...between sports and sunsets

The lake itself offers countless possibilities for playing sports and having fun. We advise you to rent a SUP or a Kayak and enjoy splendid excursions along the historic walls of Peschiera del Garda, or on the open lake which is particularly beautiful in the evening hours for its dreamlike reflections and sunsets, or travel along the Mincio river up to the dam .

If you are not inclined for this activity, you can rent boats of various kinds, motor or pedal, and enjoy the lake.

Biking and walking

The Mincio River cycle route is a route that can be followed even by less experienced people, mostly flat: from Peschiera del Garda, in the Campo Sportivo area, the cycle route begins by skirting the stretch of fortress up to Bastione Cantarane, from where the lake begins its journey feeding its emissary, the Mincio river. The Peschiera-Mantua cycle-pedestrian path runs along the river bed for over 40 km, crossing the Mincio Natural Park and crossing villages of medieval origin among castles, the Visconti bridge, naturalistic views, and aquatic fauna.

For more experienced cyclists, the moraine hills and Monte Baldo offer more challenging but exciting and wonderful routes.

Excursions and trekking

Do you love walking, hiking and trekking at various levels of difficulty?

You are in the right place! You can choose between flat routes (Mincio cycle-pedestrian path or lakeside walks, from Peschiera to Garda if you don't want to use the car), or move a little to follow paths from which you can enjoy the view of fantastic panoramas and breathtaking views or again, if you prefer to use cableway to reduce time and effort, you can go up the slopes of Monte Baldo thanks to the Malcesine-Baldo cableway or the Prà Alpesina chair lift
